The Safety Committee of the Faculty of Pharmacy (Women), organized a training program entitled "Crisis and Risk Management in Fire" in collaboration with the Women wing, Department of Safety in the Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University, at the College of Pharmacy (Girl's), on Monday 12/5/1439 H, in the presence of the Assistant Dean Dr. Amani Awad and all the teaching and management staff in order to ensure the Safety and security within the college premises . Ms. Banan Al-Muwaina, Asst. Director, Department of Safety gave in-depth detailed presentation of how to quench the fire and shared lots of tips in dealing situation of fire. She also spoke importance of the safety to be introduced to students in giving the instructions and guidelines of safety, security and which the only best way to prevent any accident amongst us.
She also gave mock drill of the fire extinguisher usage in open terrace. She explained about the different types of fire extinguisher and how to be used and also made clear that Carbon dioxide extinguisher should only be used in the laboratory. Her valuable guidelines and tips will surely help to deal with crises and risks in Fire that reduce the loss of human life and preserve the properties, tools and devices of the college. Finally she clarified and answered all the questions put forward to her by the audience. Every staff thanked Ms. Banan Al-Muwaina and the Department of Safety, PSAU, for this valuable presentation.
