The research club along with the community services arranged a lecture as " How to make a Oral & Poster presentation by Dr. Amani Awad on Tuesday, 01.03.17 M. She talk about the proper criteria for the correct poster. How to frame the poster with its contents, the common mistakes occurring while preparation of the posters and the different tools to attract the audience towards the Poster.
Explains the Questionnaire."book reading – Boon or Ban"
Reading club prepared Questionnaire to know the interest the students have towards reading the books. The goal of the Questionnaire is to find out the willingness of students towards reading the books, which also explains the aversions and distractions in reading the book. The result suggest that 70% of the students accept that the library facilities are not good. The questionnaire contains about the awareness of regarding the reading. About 58% student read 1-3 books in a year,24 % read more than 5 books,10 % read more than 10 books in a year. The survey also indicated that 73% prefer book reading as hard copy (in the Paper form) and 26% prefer reading electronically reading the book. From this questionnaire it gives us 40% of younger generation are not reading because of internet, TV & other distractions and 26% donot read books since either no Library in the school. 5% say no to reading since the price of the book is high and as such books does not attract them.
