A team Comprises of Dr. Hasan Oglu associated professor and the supervisor of the Pharmacognosy Department, Mr. Osman Ali Elmakki Lecturer at the Pharmacognosy department and Mr. Nasir Almusa the Finance and Administrative manager of the college of pharmacy had made a trip to Authilan Valley on Thursday 5/3/2015 in order to discover the potentiality of the Valley in terms of wide flora and to collect plants for research purposes.
The team manage to identify some of the plants and trees in the Valley with medicinal characteristics.
Worth to mention that Authilan valley is an old Valley in the area that comprises a group of medicinal an aromatic plants beside indigenous trees and water streams.
