The female students of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Salman bin Abdulaziz, have celebrated the World Kidney Day on, 13th March 2014, where by an introductory session was made by the female students Riham alkhilawy Shourq Saleh Al Owais, Oda Ghanem, Ahad Al-Qahtani, Mona Al Harbi, and Maha Anzi . The introductory session included an awareness about kidney as an activity linked to bio- Chemistry as a subject at the college by Dr. Chihana Salam, where she began working group under the supervision of Senior Club of Pharmacy Dr. Shourq Ahmed Owais with equipment initial collection of information from scientific sources by the Scientific Committee, and then design publications and advertisements and documenting Pictures of the work before the media committee, and in coordination with the college and the supporting parties by the public Relations Committee, and finally print work and equipping the corner by the Committee of support and Supply.
With the support of the Association of Prince Fahd bin Salman Charity Hospital, King Khalid Al-Kharj supported the students with publications to be distributed to the audience, and seek the help of nurses to measure the pressure and sugar to improve the acknowledge and the importance of maintaining normal levels so as to maintain the integrity of the kidneys.
