Under the auspices of the Dean of the College Prof. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Kharfy, the College of Pharmacy have organized a seminar presented by Prof. Mohamed Abdelghany the supervisor of the Clinical Pharmacy Department on Tuesday 25th Feb. 2014 on Drug Time Interaction.
Drug time interaction means :The study of rhythmic, predictable-in-time differences in the effects and/or pharmacokinetics of drugs both in experimental animals and in men. It investigates the effects/side effects of drugs upon temporal changes in biological functions or symptoms of a disease as well as drug effects as a function of biologic timing. It is the science concerned with the variations in the pharmacological actions of various drugs over a biological timings & endogenous periodicities.
