Lecture presented by Dr. Ahmed Alaiwi: (study the effect of surface chemistry properties and particle size on the bioavailability of Nano-gold particles coated with a layer polyethylene glycol taken by mouth)
Under the sponsorship of the faculty dean Prof. Khalid bin Mohammed Kherfy, the college has organized a lecture on (study the effect of surface chemistry properties and particle size on the bioavailability of Nano-gold particles coated with a layer polyethylene glycol taken by mouth) presented by Dr. Ahmed Alaiwi
There has been recent success in the use of nanomaterials as platforms for advanced diagnostic (imaging) and therapeutics (drug delivery). Among the many specific nanomaterials researched for biomedical applications, gold is one of the most widely used, due to its chemical inertness and its ability to perform many functions, such as drug delivery, photothermal therapy, and its biosensing properties.
