In the presence of His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim, and the Vice President for Educational and Academic Affairs, a ceremony was held to honor the recipients of the Excellence Awards in Scientific Research and Innovation. The event took place as part of the “Sattam Day for Research and Innovation in Pharmacy” forum, organized by the College of Pharmacy on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the university’s main auditorium.
The awards were divided into two categories: the Best Research Poster Award, which recognized student projects distinguished by their scientific quality and academic methodology; and the Best Innovation Initiative Award, which honored creative, applicable ideas presented by students that contribute to the advancement of the pharmaceutical sector and support concepts of innovation and sustainability. Winners were selected based on evaluations conducted by a specialized judging committee using rigorous scientific and professional criteria. The event was attended by a number of faculty members and students.
The ceremony also included the recognition of the organizing committees in appreciation of their efforts in planning and executing the forum’s activities.
