The College of Pharmacy participated in the “Your Major” event organized this week by the First-Year Common Unit under the Deanship of Admission and Registration at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. The event aimed to introduce preparatory year students to the available academic majors and support them in choosing the academic path that aligns with their interests and future aspirations.
The College of Pharmacy’s participation included a comprehensive informational booth that showcased the college’s academic programs, departments, and study plans. The booth provided an in-depth introduction to the academic departments within the College of Pharmacy and highlighted the key professional practice areas available to pharmacy graduates, along with emerging trends in the field.
The booth received significant interest and interaction from preparatory year students, who expressed their enthusiasm in learning more about the pharmacy major, its diverse departments, future opportunities, and the vital role pharmacists play in healthcare.
