About the Alumni Unit
Based on the College of Pharmacy’s keenness to raise the level and efficiency of its graduates, qualify them for the labor market, and provide them with suitable job opportunities, the Graduates Unit was established as one of the units of the College’s Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs to be a link between the College and the graduates who are proud, as well as to support institutions and companies in the public and private sectors. In various regions of the Kingdom, especially after the huge expansion witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of health and medicine, whose needs must be met with qualified and distinguished cadres.
Since the student is the main focus of the educational process, the graduates unit at the college seeks to develop the skills and capabilities of the graduates to facilitate their involvement in the labor market, through the implementation of a number of training programs, the provision of advisory services, the implementation of high-quality development projects and programs and the achievement of interdependence with various institutions in The public and private sectors by signing memoranda of understanding with them.

Objectives
The unit's objectives and tasks are divided into 4 main axes:
First: Alumni Committee:

1- Preparing and implementing a plan of events and activities to train and qualify graduates and provide them with the capabilities and skills necessary to compete in the labor market.
2- Providing vocational training and employment opportunities for students and graduates, in direct communication with government and private agencies.
3- Providing means and continuous interaction with the graduates of the college.
4- Introducing graduates to professional bodies and professional tests in their fields of specialization.
5- Introducing students to the various electronic means and platforms to search for vocational training and employment opportunities.
6- Providing the necessary data and statistics about graduates, especially with regard to employment rates.
7- Preparing and analyzing the necessary questionnaires, as well as surveying the opinions of graduates and employers.
8- Preparing the necessary reports about the alumni unit in the college and documenting the events and activities.
9- Measuring the extent of students' and graduates' satisfaction with the activities and events offered by the committee.
10- Developing the unit's website in which information and news about the unit are published.
11- The Secretary of the Alumni Unit keeps the data, information and minutes of the committee’s meetings.
Second: The Field Pharmacist Training Committee:

1- Discussing the schedule for organizing field training before announcing it to the students.
2- Follow up the procedures for implementing field training in its various stages before, during and after the training.
3- Preparing and updating a manual for organizing field training in the college and preparing organized forms.
4- Discussing field training programs (plans).
5- Providing a training opportunity in government and private agencies that is suitable for the students’ specialization.
6- Suggest meetings and lectures related to field training.
7- The Secretary of the Alumni Unit keeps the data, information and minutes of the committee's meetings.
Third: Graduation Projects Discussion Committee:
tasks of the Committee:
1- Discussing the schedule for organizing graduation projects before announcing it to the students.
2- Follow-up procedures for the implementation of graduation projects at the college level.
3- Preparing and updating a guide for organizing graduation projects in the college and preparing organized forms.
4- Discussing the graduation project proposals presented before they are announced to the students to ensure that the graduation projects at the college level are equal in the efforts that the students will make, as well as compatibility with the number of students participating in them.
5- Proposing meetings, competitions, events and activities related to graduation projects.
Fourth: Training and Qualification Committee:

1- Determining the capabilities and skills needed in training and qualification in order to qualify students and graduates to compete in the labor market.
2- Develop and implement a plan of events and activities for training and rehabilitation in the various fields of the college.
3- Preparing and updating a manual for organizing training and rehabilitation in the college and preparing student forms.
4- Helping to provide opportunities for vocational training in the labor market that are suitable for the students' specialization.
5- Helping to provide employment opportunities in private entities that are suitable for the students' specialization.
6-Preparing training bags and providing electronic resources, publications and various advertisements.
7- Coordination with the bodies within the university related to vocational training.
8- Coordination with external bodies such as the Human Resources Fund: “Goal” or specialized companies in the field of training and rehabilitation.
9- To contribute to providing part-time employment opportunities for students and employment opportunities for graduates in private entities, and to identify the beneficiaries of these opportunities.
10- Organizing and following up the male and female graduates who cooperate in administratively with the various bodies within the university, with the aim of obtaining an experience certificate.11- Preparing a report regarding the activities of the committee.

At the outset, I am pleased to welcome the graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in various stages and specializations, and to congratulate you on your efforts in achieving during the years of study there, after providing you with everything possible in terms of academic and training, which helps to possess the skills to launch into the labor market efficiently and effectively. Wishing you a successful practical life that, God willing, will contribute to the realization of your hopes and aspirations.
The college is not satisfied with graduating an academic and professional cadre capable of meeting the demands of the labor market in various disciplines of pharmacy, but it seriously seeks to take care of its graduates through the Alumni Unit, communication and standing up to your problems and needs, taking care of your affairs and interests, and inviting you to attend and participate in the meetings, programs and qualification courses that we seek Through it, it aims to develop your capabilities, raise your efficiency and provide you with knowledge according to distinguished academic, cultural, and scientific foundations. Graduate Unit Plans:
The plans of the Alumni Unit are based on the qualification of graduates through:
1- Organizing courses in the personal and professional skills that the graduate must have, such as:
• Self-development: This skill includes many personal and psychological aspects of the graduate.
• Leadership: The ability to lead a team to work.
• Development of electronic knowledge.
• Develop research skills.
• Data analysis: a useful skill for most jobs and places.
• Project management in the field of specialization.
• Public speaking skills.
• Statistical analysis in the health field using computers (SAS, SPSS, and other programs).

2- Organizing workshops with the targeted sectors for the employment of graduates in the college; Attended by prospective graduate students and faculty members; This is for the expected graduate to benefit from the job opportunities offered by these sectors, and to learn about the application mechanism, and the faculty members also benefit from the requirements of companies in graduates.

Instructions for Obtaining an Academic or Professional Recommendation Letter

Dear Alumni:
In order to obtain a letter of recommendation from one of your professors:
1. You must be a graduate.
2. You should contact your professor directly and request a letter of recommendation via email or any other method of communication.
• You must mention your name, the name of the course, your grade, and in what year you registered for this course.
• You need to specify the purpose of the recommendation. Is it academic or professional?
• You will usually get a letter of recommendation shortly after the instructor accepts the recommendation for you.
3. Your letter should be stamped in the college secretary's office after the professor sends it to you or to the office.
4. You must bring your degree certificate and official academic record for the stampNote The professor has the right to accept or refuse to give any recommendation to any student even if he has obtained a high grade.

Pharmacovigilance and logistics safety associate (SAUDIS ONLY)
Job description
Description:
Pharmacovigilance and logistics safety is the point of convergence between medical research, regulatory affairs, supply chain, and marketing. Its role is increasingly important in today’s regulated environment, ever more sensitive to risk prevention/management and transparency of communications. The incoming associate will have assisted oversight over the company’s pharmacovigilance system in a manner that ensures that information on all suspected adverse reactions and concerns is reported internally, to medical representatives, and to the SFDA in an accurate and timely manner. The opportunity is best suited for Riyadh based young Saudi males or femaleswho are eager to develop operational, regulatory, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the head of operations and the operations team to continuously improve and maintain the pharmacovigilance system in all its relevant aspects (i.e., quality control and assurance procedures, standard operating procedures, database, contractual arrangements, compliance, etc.)
• Timely and accurate submission of reports to the SFDA (i.e., ADR, PSURs, ICRs)
• Stay informed on the safety profiles and any emerging safety concerns of the company’s registered medicinal products and continuous pharmacovigilance evaluation pre and post medicinal product registration with the SFDA
• Ensure full compliance with handling and shipping requirements/regulations for incoming and outgoing shipments and inform staff and management of any regulatory developments
• Good understanding of published SFDA pharmacovigilance and warehouse regulations, guidelines, and literature
• Liaise with the SFDA on drug and medical devices registration, import license approval, or customs clearance.
• Ensure audit and pharmacovigilance inspection preparedness and act as the SFDA’s contact point for inspections and audits
• Act as the single emergency point of contact with the SFDA (on a 24-hour basis)
Qualifications and requirements:
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) degree
• Saudi national
• Ability to keep meticulous records and attention to details
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide range of people
• A systematic approach to tasks
• Good interpretative and teamwork skills
Package: SAR 12,000 take-home pay, including benefits (revised annually depending on performance).
